Saimo N60 Belt Speed Sensor

The N60 Belt Speed Sensor is used for the series N64, N63 and N62 Belt Scale Systems. Direct-coupling the sensor to the conveyor tail pulley, or apply a large diameter idler (on the surface of return belt) to ensure solid contacts between the belt and idler to avoid belt slippage problems.

The N60 Belt Speed Sensor is essentially a brushless pulse generator which gives a series of pulses. Each pulse represents one unit of belt travel distance. The pulse frequency is proportional to the belt speed.
